American Heart Association and Course Completion Certificate Information

American Heart Association certification classes require that you attend the entire class and demonstrate the ability to perform the skills taught in the class. Some of these classes may also require a written test. If you attend the entire class, but are unable to demonstrate the skills or achieve a passing score on the written test, you may attend another class of the same type or set up an individual appointment to review the material. These remediation services are offered as part of the cost of your class. You must successfully pass the written and skills tests within 30 days of the original class date.

Normally, American Heart Association course completion cards and CE Certificates will be issued at the end of the class. However, if we are unable to issue cards or certificates, they will be mailed to the address you provided when you registered for the course, within 30 days of your completion of the class. In the event that your card must be mailed to you and you need to show proof of certification before you receive your course completion card, you may request that we provide you with a letter indicating that you have passed the class. All course completion cards are valid for 2 years.

If you need a replacement CE certificate or course completion card and we issued your original card, please contact us at (877) 589-4070.  Replacement cards and certificates are $15.  Requests for replacement cards will be processed within 72 hours. Requests for replacement cards should include your name, the date you took the class and a current mailing address.
