CPR/AED & First Aid Training

Our CPR/AED and First Aid courses are taught using the American Heart Association Heartsaver curriculum. Our small class sizes allow students to get lots of practice doing the skills with the help of our enthusiastic and friendly instructors. Upon sucessful completion of the course, each student receives an American Heart Association course completion card, which is one of the most widely accepted certifications available. This course completion card has a suggested renewal date two years from the month in which they are issued. Please see below for more detailed information about the classes we offer:

Heartsaver AED is a 3 hour long CPR and AED course. Participants in this course learn how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants; how to use an AED; and how to help someone who is choking.

Heartsaver First Aid is a 3.5 hour long First Aid course that prepares students to recognize and provide initial care for a variety of life threatening illnesses and injuries.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid with CPR/AED is a 7.5 hour long course. The first half of the course teaches participants to recognize and provide initial care for the most common life threatening illnesses and injuries that effect infants and children.  The second half of the course teaches participants to perform CPR and use an AED. This course meets guidelines for childcare provider training set by the State of California EMSA.
